Auraliya is situated in Talpe on the Galle to Matara road approximately 15 minutes south of Galle. The 127km post is a great landmark opposite the Auraliya entrance and it takes about three hours to drive the 127 kilometeres from Colombo along the coastal road. You can head straight down or break your journey at a boutique hotel for lunch, visit a turtle hatchery, or a blue moonstone mine en route. We are happy to advise you on the different options.
It is possible to fly down with Deccan Air whose Raytheon beachcraft lands at the nearby Koggala airstrip. This is located just ten minutes from Auraliya flying direct from Katunayake International Airport in Colombo.
